After months of hard work and dedication, we are delighted to officially announce the launch of our name change and newly designed website. Formerly known as Lorain County LGBTQ+ & Allies Task Force, you can now visit LGBTQ+ Lorain County at LGBTQLorainCounty.org. Our goal with this new website is to provide our visitors with an easier way to learn about LGBTQ+ Lorain County’s services and browse information based on their own choices. The new website gives better access to:

  • Share who we are and how we provide resources in Lorain County.

    • NEW: LGBTQ+ Lorain County is now partnering with 211 Lorain County. The 211 Lorain County website will now have a designation showing which organizations are LGBTQ+ accessible.

  • Allow visitors to join our cause with LGBTQ+ Lorain County. Including volunteering for events, joining our board, or learning about various programs and training.

  • Showcase the narratives of our community. Everyone has a story to tell, which has the power to influence people and change the world. We invite visitors to our site to share their stories, which will be publicly viewable on our website.

  • Donate funds directly to LGBTQ+ Lorain County safely and securely.

  • Visitors can quickly receive help through our community members and resources page

  • Connect with us through our email, phone number, website inquiry box, or through mail.

Starting next week through the end of 2020, LGBTQ+ Lorain County Board Members, community members, and staff will share videos through our new website. These videos will highlight our work in Lorain County, achievements in 2020, and our goals for 2021.

Through our programs and initiatives, our organization continually demonstrates that an investment in LGBTQ+ Lorain County is an investment in the community. Not only have we distinguished ourselves as a leader, but also as a guide in caring for and giving to our community.

Although 2020 presented new challenges, we are proud to highlight our board members and accomplishments throughout this year.

By donating to LGBTQ+ Lorain County during this season of giving, you play a role in addressing our community’s needs when people are particularly struggling. Funds go directly to LGBTQ+ Lorain County and can now be accepted on our new website.

For any questions, suggestions, feedback, or comments, please email us at LorainCountyLGBTQ@gmail.com. Thank You!
